Chaos Cult Generator
Setting: Warhammer Fantasy
Welcome, keeper of grim tables, to the heresy wing of the codex. Conjure cult names across blood tithes, hidden sigils, plague cells, velvet masks, and doomed prophecies. Roll the dice, and let the cult name find its sigil.

The heresy wing
This wing stores names that polite towns pretend not to hear. Some belong to blood tithe cells with brass bowls and red ledgers. Some hide under market town sigils, sewer shrines, apothecary guilds, or noble masquerades. Others whisper through Nurgle plague conventicles, Tzeentch plot circles, Slaanesh revel lodges, and undivided eight pointed covens.
Using an entry
Take one name and decide who knows it. The public may know only a harmless society. The witch hunter may know the true mark. The cult may use a third name during midnight sermons. That triangle gives you rumor, clue, and reveal without extra machinery.
Questions for the archive
- Which sign appears on the first piece of evidence?
- Who benefits from the cults polite disguise?
- What number, mutation, or animal proves the cell is connected?
- Which name do the frightened townsfolk dare to say?
Scribes ask…
Can I really use these chaos cult names for free?
Yes. Every name rolled with the Chaos Cult Generator is free to use in your stories, games, streams or projects — no credit required, though a kind word is always welcome. Just remember the muse is generous, so the occasional name may already belong to someone else; double-check before tattooing it on a logo.
Is there a limit to how many chaos cult names I can roll?
Roll until your dice catch fire. The codex holds many hundreds of chaos cult names for this generator alone, and the pool gets shuffled on every visit, so you'll rarely see the same line-up twice.
Does this work without an internet connection?
Once a generator's page has loaded, the names are cached in your browser. You can reroll on a train, in a tent, or deep in a dungeon — no signal required.
