The Imprint Wing
This wing keeps names for powers that want to be pressed into gear, whispered over a build, or argued about after a dungeon run. Its shelves divide the work by Dungeon Codex Aspects, Barbarian Wrath Aspects, Sorcerer Element Aspects, Rogue Shadow Aspects, and Shrine and Dungeon Lore Aspects, though the borders are deliberately porous.
Reading the mark
A name with a ring, sigil, oath, ward, covenant, or brand already tells you something about slot and playstyle. A Barbarian phrase should sound like weight meeting bone. A Sorcerer phrase should suggest a dangerous equation. A Rogue phrase wants a second exit. A Necromancer phrase should feel borrowed from a grave that was not finished with its owner.
Using the wing
Take a result and ask what makes it trigger. Critical strike, evade, barrier, vulnerable state, companion strike, resource spend, or crowd control can all become the hidden hinge. Pair a mobility name with a Hellfire and Shadow name to invent a slippery damage loop. Pair Jewelry and Resource Aspects with Barrier and Fortify Aspects when you need a defensive reward that still feels tempting.
- Use the name first, then write the mechanic in one clean sentence.
- Let weapon names hit harder and armor names buy time.
- Move a good phrase to another class when the fantasy still holds.
- Keep official Diablo wording out of the final text for public fan work.
Questions at the lectern
- Which class would risk using this power?
- What visual flare tells the player it has triggered?
- Does the name promise burst, survival, mobility, control, or resource flow?
- What drawback would make the aspect interesting rather than automatic?
