The hard-vacuum cooperatives wing
This wing keeps the names that do not belong to polished megacorps. It stores claim sector identity, rig and tug culture, worker-owned branding, ore vein specialty, and charter wording tone beside grease marks and ballot scars. You come here when a mining outfit needs a legal face, a dock nickname, or a reason to refuse a buyout.
Reading the entries
A mapped claim name gives you coordinates and authority. A tug-culture name gives you clamps, burns, and repairs. A worker-owned name tells the reader that shares, votes, and rescue duties matter. Ore specialty names point trade routes toward nickel, ice, carbon, or stranger cargo. Charter names give the whole operation a paper trail, which is often where trouble begins.
Using the wing
Pick one entry for the public sign and one for the private nickname. Let officials use the registered version while dock crews mutter the shorter one. Combine a legal tone with a salvage reputation when you need a co-op that looks respectable until someone finds its patched hull. Keep the politics visible, but do not make the name carry the entire constitution.
- Which name sounds like it survived a strike?
- Which one would fit on a beacon plate?
- Who benefits when the co-op stays independent?
- What would the crew shorten over the radio?
Scribes ask…
Can I really use these asteroid mining coop names for free?
Yes. Every name rolled with the Asteroid Mining Coop Generator is free to use in your stories, games, streams or projects — no credit required, though a kind word is always welcome. Just remember the muse is generous, so the occasional name may already belong to someone else; double-check before tattooing it on a logo.
Is there a limit to how many asteroid mining coop names I can roll?
Roll until your dice catch fire. The codex holds many hundreds of asteroid mining coop names for this generator alone, and the pool gets shuffled on every visit, so you'll rarely see the same line-up twice.
Does this work without an internet connection?
Once a generator's page has loaded, the names are cached in your browser. You can reroll on a train, in a tent, or deep in a dungeon — no signal required.
